Senior/Semi Senior Accountant

£28,000 to £35,000 pro rata, depending on experience.

Heald are an award-winning, world leader in our industry and we are looking for a Senior/Semi Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The role will be a minimum of 30 hours per week, ideally 37.5.

Role Requirements:

· Control of Purchase/Sales Ledger, including Multi Currency.

· Producing BACSs and CHAPs payments on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

· Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations - Sterling and Multi Currency.

· Weekly and Monthly Management Reports, including Cashflows.

· Environmental reports.

· General Book-keeping, including CIS and VAT reporting.

· Month end Journals, including Prepayments and Accruals

· Monthly payroll – 50+ Employees.

· Accounts to Trial Balance stage.

Keys Skills Required:

· Experience with Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll are essential, including project and stock control.

· Experience of Sage HR would be desirable; however, training can be given.

· Good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.

· Good organisational and communication skills.

· Ability to work well under pressure.

Experience and Qualifications:

· Previous experience within the industry sector is advantageous.

· Qualified, Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience.
