Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Visiting Officer for a Local Authority Client based in North London.

In this role, you will provide a comprehensive visiting service, conducting property inspections, verifying residency, and supporting vulnerable customers, while ensuring compliance with council policies and delivering exceptional customer service.

About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

Conduct property inspections and verify residency across the borough.
Provide support to vulnerable or housebound customers with no advocacy or family assistance.
Respond to income-related queries and assist with council reductions and reliefs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of visits and customer interactions.
Collaborate with the Assessment Hub team and external agencies to resolve customer enquiries.

About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

Experience working in an income collection, financial assessment, or debt-related environment.
Proven track record in providing visiting services, including property inspections and residency checks.
Experience handling customer enquiries and delivering high-quality services, especially to vulnerable clients.
What's on offer:
Salary: £17+ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
