Our highly established client based in Royston are seeking a new member to join their Logistics team, as a Warehouse Operative. This is a Temporary role, lasting anywhere from 3 to 6 months, with a view of an immediate start.
 
The perfect candidate must have Warehouse & Logistics experience, with an excellent attitude towards learning new skills and working within a successful team.
 
The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 7am till 3:00pm.
 
The hourly rate for the role is £11.66 per hour.
 
Duties as a Warehouse Operative:

To ensure that goods are processed and controlled within the business in a controlled and timely manner.
Picking parts to fulfil Production Orders, in accordance with SOP's.
Physical location of received items in line with SOP's and FIFO principles.
General work area maintenance and upkeep of 5S standard.
Completion of Yard Daily Visual Inspection Sheet to schedule.
Forklift operation (if needed and qualified)
To ensure that all Security regulations are adhered to.
To ensure that all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
Be aware of, and comply with, all Quality Assurance procedures at all times.  
What’s needed as a Warehouse Operative:

Experience within the Warehouse & Logistics sectors
Forklift License desirable but not a deal breaker
A keen eye for detail and accuracy
Team player
Numerically competent
Highly self –motivated
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
SAP experience desirable
