An excellent opportunity for an Experienced CNC Grinder to join a well-established company based near Rickmansworth.

We offer ‘A great service’ by manufacture of parts and sub-assemblies complete to a wide range of customers in sectors including Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas, Motorsport (including Formula 1), Food/Scientific and Medical to name a few.
Due to the expansion of our Grinding Department, we are seeking an experienced Precision CNC Grinder to join our busy and expanding engineering team on a permanent basis.
Duties will include: Setting and Operating Cylindrical and Surface Grinders, and other equipment within our busy Grinding department.
Candidate Requirements: CNC Grinder
* CNC Grinding (Studer (Fanuc) / Jones & Shipman) programming & setting experience an advantage.
* Manual Cylindrical and Surface Grinding including internal and external grinding.
* A good understanding of engineering drawings.
* Must be a proactive team player.
* Ability and knowledge of grinding complex parts to tight tolerances.
* Able to use various types of measuring equipment.
* Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
* Experience of small / medium size batch work an advantage.
* Previous experience of working in a similar sub contract manufacturing environment.
* Good communication skills.
Working Hours: CNC Grinder Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm - Friday 7:30am to 1:00pm. Overtime paid at 1.5x
Salary: CNC Grinder Up to £46k (negotiable & depending on experience) Overtime paid at time and a half.
