Automotive Parts Advisor – High Wycombe
Salary: Basic £30,000 plus Bonus (up to £6,000 OTE)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (1 hour lunch break)
Saturdays: 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30 am – 12:30 pm (paid as overtime at 1.5)
Theo is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join our client in High Wycombe.
Parts Advisor Responsibilities:
* Meeting and greeting customers coming into the Parts department.
* Ordering, booking out parts, invoicing, and taking payments.
* Handling general aftersales enquiries while working as a team with the Service department.
* Providing estimates when required.
* Achieving sales by prospecting, acquiring, and maintaining accounts.
* Dealing with customer enquiries over the phone and face-to-face.
* Checking in parts deliveries.
* Assisting with parts stock checks.
* Liaising with the workshop, service advisors, and customers.
* Contacting customers to offer special promotions that are available from time to time.
The ideal Parts Advisor:
* Works collaboratively with colleagues to support increased profit and sales.
* Is committed to achieving excellent customer relations and exceeding customer expectations.
* Maintains a friendly but professional manner, demonstrating integrity, discretion, and objectivity.
* Can demonstrate experience in a parts department.
* Has a good technical understanding of how motor vehicles work and a willingness to keep technical knowledge updated to provide the most efficient service possible.
* Possesses a good telephone manner.
* Has knowledge of Kerridge (essential).
* Holds a full, valid, and clean UK driving licence.
