A highly reputable Precision Equipment manufacturer in the South Yorkshire region are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer. This company design to highly regulated and high quality standards for specialist sectors.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll join a highly skilled and multi-disciplined Engineering team and take lead on your own designs. The focus will be on designing and developing complex bespoke equipment used in sectors such as Nuclear, Space, Automotive, Rail etc. This will include component, sheet metal and machined part design, calculations, testing and seeing your product through to manufacture. 

This company are backed by a global group and are currently undergoing major developments, meaning there’s strong chance for progression.  

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

Degree Educated in Engineering
Strong 3D CAD Experience
Sheet Metal, Machined Components, Light Fabrications
GD&T (BS8888)
Knowledgeable with Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, Controls (advantageous)Benefits of this Mechanical Design Engineer role:
