Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting students 1:1 in secondary schools across Manchester? Aspire People are currently recruiting for high-demand SEN 1:1 TA positions within alternative provisions, pupil referral units (PRUs), and mainstream schools.
About the Role:
* Provide 1:1 support for students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties.
* Work within alternative provisions, PRUs, and mainstream schools, supporting students with challenging behaviour.
* Assist in implementing EHCPs and individual behaviour management strategies.
* Build positive relationships to support students' academic and personal development.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to create a nurturing learning environment.
Requirements:
✅ Previous experience working with children with SEN in the UK (essential).
✅ Strong behaviour management skills - experience dealing with challenging behaviour is a must.
✅ Patience, resilience, and a passion for supporting vulnerable young people.
✅ A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
✅ Ability to provide two years of references.
