Transport Planner (4 on 4 off shift pattern 06:00-18:00)

Are you an experienced Transport Planner looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a client based in Lutterworth! Our client is seeking two Transport Planners to join their team on a 2x4 on, 4 off shift pattern, working from 06:00 to 18:00.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and route drivers (Class 1 and Class 2) effectively to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

*

Manage and respond to customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service at all times.

*

Administer and manage emails, ensuring clear and effective communication.

*

Use the Cyrus transport system to monitor and manage the transportation schedule.

*

Provide general administrative support related to transport planning.

*

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Key Requirements:

*

Experience in transport planning, ideally within a logistics or transport environment.

*

Knowledge of WTD and WTR for HGV Drivers

*

Proficient in using transport management systems

*

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

*

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

*

Ability to work on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (06:00 to 18:00).
