Job Description: As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, your role will be pivotal in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and equipment to ensure they function at their peak. Your tasks will include:
Executing routine maintenance, fitting, inspections, and repairs on mechanical machinery.
Diagnosing and proficiently troubleshooting mechanical faults, swiftly implementing effective solutions.
Collaborating seamlessly with other maintenance staff and cross-functional departments to achieve our maintenance goals.
Strictly adhering to safety protocols and ensuring unwavering compliance with pertinent regulations.
Rapidly responding to emergency maintenance requests to ensure operational continuity.
Harnessing your expertise in areas like Hydraulics, Pneumatics, gears, motors, drives, and sprockets.Qualifications and Skills: Your success in this role hinges on your qualifications and skills, including:
A mechanical engineering Apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 /HNC or City and Guilds Apprenticeship).
A proven track record in maintenance and repair work, ideally within the FMCG or Chemical sector.
A profound understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
