Techniche Global are supporting leading automotive manufacturer to appoint a Design Engineer to join their Genuine Accessories team.

Location: Cranfield, Bedfordshire
Duration: 12-month rolling contract
Rate: £27.94 PAYE annual equivalent of £56,662. If opting out of holiday pay the rate increases to £32.13 per hour (annual equivalent of £65,000 per annum)
Type: Hybrid (3 days on-site, Monday to Friday, with early finish on Fridays)

This exciting role offers an opportunity to work across multiple disciplines, including Mechanical, Trim, and Electrical.

Key Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the successful integration of accessories.
Ensure all development processes align with company's engineering standards.
Ensure development meets technical, cost, and timing targets.
Support accessories adoption for Special Versions (SV) vehicles.
Support the team with any technical inquiries, ensuring smooth workflow. Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Honours).
Minimum 3 years of experience in Automotive OEM and/or relevant supplier experience.
Proficiency in CAD (preferably NX)
