Network Management Technician required for our public sector client.
Working in the office 2/3 days a week for couple of weeks for training and then be able to reduce to 1 day in the office.
Core hours is 10am-3pm but can be flexible.
Hourly Rate - £13.70ph
Job purpose:
As a Highway Authority, Leicestershire County Council has statutory responsibility to manage their highway (network) in an effective manner, to control and reduce congestion and provide a high-level of safe and reliable journeys to the road user.
The Network Management Service, within the Council’s Highways & Transport division take an active role in the implementation of the Council’s Local Transport Plan whilst also delivering the statutory responsibility for network management (refer to Appendix A for primary functions).
The Network Management Technician’s role is to support the delivery of the Council’s responsibility and the function of the Network Management Service by supporting the functions of the Network Coordinator and NRSWA Inspector.
Description:
* Organized with management processes
* Flexible approach to working and adapting work planning
* Confirm (HMS)
* Street Manager (Specific to Network Management)
* Computer literate
* Street Works experience in approving Permits via Street Manager or Confirm and is able to use One Network to approve minor permits
* Admin work in clearing the inboxes and be able to plot diversions
