Job Title: Year 3 and Year 4 Teacher
Location: Birmingham
Start Date: After Easter
Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Monarch Education is seeking an enthusiastic Year 3 and Year 4 Teacher for a full-time role in a supportive primary school in Central Birmingham, starting after Easter. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
You will be responsible for full teacher duties, including lesson planning, delivery, and assessing student progress across Year 3 and Year 4. This role offers the chance to work with a committed team of educators and support students in their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons based on the national curriculum for Year 3 and Year 4.
Assess and monitor children's academic progress, providing regular feedback to pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive, productive learning environment.
Provide differentiated learning activities to cater to the individual needs of students.
Take full responsibility for lesson planning, marking, and other teaching-related tasks.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective teaching strategies and the sharing of best practices.
Engage in parent meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities.
Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all students in your care, following school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Year 3 and Year 4, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
Ability to differentiate teaching to meet the individual needs of students.
A passionate and creative approach to teaching, with the drive to support children's academic and personal development.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A commitment to the welfare and safeguarding of children.
