About the Role

As Shift Manager, you'll oversee a team of 4 Front-Line Managers (with around 170 operatives) to ensure daily production runs smoothly, meeting quality and safety targets. You'll manage shift operations, resolve issues, and uphold food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the team of Front-Line Managers and operatives to meet production targets
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and food safety protocols
Monitor and report on production output, resolving operational issues as they arise
Conduct regular team meetings and ensure smooth communication across departments
Provide training, mentoring, and career development opportunities for team members
Manage shift operations and oversee daily performance, ensuring efficient workflows

About You

We're seeking a proactive Shift Manager with strong leadership and communication skills. Experience in managing large teams in fast-paced environments is essential, ideally within food manufacturing. A positive attitude, solid numeracy skills, and proficiency in Excel are key for success in this role.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Experience in a similar role (Shift Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Front-Line Manager)
Strong character with a positive attitude and the ability to manage a large team
Excellent communication skills, comfortable leading a multicultural workforce
Solid numeracy skills for reporting on performance metrics
Proficient in Excel and familiar with KPI reporting (desirable)
