The company are keen to bring on a new Area Sales Manager.In this position, you will be working with a portfolio of customers in Industries such as Food & Drink, Logistics and Automation throughout the East Midlands area. Other focus areas include product training, presentations, and new business development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Working with trusted existing customers, continuing to nurture, develop and strengthen relationships.

* Promote and sell the companies Power Transmission components to large End Users and OEM’s across a range of Industry sectors including Food & Drink, Logistics, and Automation

* Perform product training and sales presentations.

* Develop new business while maintaining excellent service for current customers.

* Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of parts and equipment.

Key Competencies:

* BSc/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant Engineering qualification

* Familiarity with the client landscape across the East Midlands area

* Familiarity with Power Transmission components (bearings, belts, chain, pulleys, sprockets)

* Outside sales experience with a proven successful track record of selling to End Users and OEMs

* Ability to perform Product Training and Sales Presentations

* Experience in the development of new business

* Moderate to complex maths aptitude, along with mechanical aptitude

* Friendly; with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Self-management with a drive to succeed and achieve goals

* Un-yielding commitment to customer service

* Computer proficiency, plus organizational and multi-tasking skills

This is a full time position that can be based anywhere in the East Midlands
