An excellent opportunity has been made available by my client an established housing provider in the UK. My client has a large portfolio of supported living projects and offers generic housing management and supported housing services.

Vacancy Brief:

* The role is that of a Tenancy Management and Resettlement Officer; this is a 3-month contract with the view to an extension.

* This is a full-time vacancy; 37.5 hours a week.

* Monday – Friday 9 – 5 pm

* Pay rate for this vacancy is £21.92 per hour on PAYE OR £28.15 Umbrella.

* Based in London, SE6 (This role has been identified as suitable for hybrid working which will be a combination of home working and working from our office in Hereford and travel to other offices)

* This vacancy is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

The Responsibilities:

* As a Tenancy Management and Resettlement Officer, you will be tasked with carrying out inspections of properties to assess their suitability for households in housing need.

* Part of your job role will entail assessing prospective customers suitability for private rented accommodation by reviewing their housing history, making enquiries into their financial situation, and establishing whether they are able to meet the rent and comply with the tenancy conditions.

* In your role as a Tenancy Management and Resettlement Officer, you will undertake accompanied viewings with prospective customers and provide them with expert advice and guidance on all aspects of letting (including housing benefit and the conditions of tenancy) to help them make informed decisions.

* Furthermore, an integral aspect of your job role will be to provide a comprehensive tenancy sign up and sustainment service to ensure assured short hold tenancies (prevention, discharge) and non-secure tenancies (temporary accommodation) are successfully signed up and sustained.
