Job Opportunity: Yard Operative - Steel Fabrication

Location: Bilston

Hourly Rate: £12.25 per hour

Shift: Day Shift

We are currently seeking a Yard Operative to join our client based in Bilston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a manual, outdoor work environment and has experience with handling and moving steel materials.

Key Responsibilities:
Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT) to safely move long lengths of steel

Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials

Keeping the yard organized and ensuring safe storage of steel

Working as part of a team to meet production targets

Adhering to all health and safety guidelines

Requirements:
Experience in manual outdoor work

FLT experience, ideally with a valid FLT license

Ability to handle steel materials and work in a fast-paced environment

Good communication skills and a team player attitude

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
