Finance Business Partner

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights, cost analysis, and strategic support to senior stakeholders. This role will enable teams to deliver against their targets and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering: Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Cost Analysis & Control: Monitor, analyse, and challenge cost variances, ensuring alignment with budgets and forecasts across departments and products.

Revenue Optimization: Work closely with commercial teams to identify opportunities for margin improvement, pricing strategies, and revenue growth.

Financial Planning & Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and identifying efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.

Performance Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior stakeholders, providing meaningful analysis on cost trends, operational efficiencies, and business performance using key financial and non-financial metrics.

Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with non-finance stakeholders to ensure financial performance is understood.

Process Improvement: Drive efficiency and cost optimization initiatives across the business.

Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to accounting policies, controls, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

You have:

A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE).

Proven experience in finance, FP&A, or business partnering roles within a fast-paced environment.

Strong financial modeling, cost accounting, and data analysis skills.

Ability to interpret financial and non-financial data and provide strategic insights.

Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage with senior management and non-finance stakeholders.

Proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis) and ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.
