Your main tasks will include but not be limited to:

Installations. Working in Theatres, Schools, Studios, Entertainment Venues. Carry out installations at customer sites to a high standard in accordance with verbal instruction, drawings and / or schedules: Work on building sites as well as completed / occupied buildings. Install cable containment systems. Pull a wide range of specialist cables including power, audio, video, data, etc. Termination of specialist cables using screw terminal, crimp, solder, etc. Install electrical / electronic equipment such as luminaries, dimmers, amplifiers, mixing desks, screens, projectors etc. as required. Testing and documentation of all installed electrical, cable and specialist equipment systems. Install mechanical equipment such as lighting bars, truss, curtain systems, equipment and bracket hardware for speakers, projectors, etc as required. Loading & unloading vehicles. Driving of Company vehicles. Assembling access equipment & working at height. Working as part of a team, or alone. Liase with Customers / Site Supervision / Others on site. Nationwide travel and sometimes 3-4 nights away per week. Occasional weekends. Occasional early start / late finish. When working away from home you will be provided with accommodation & 2 meals per day.

Other tasks will include but not be limited to:

Working at / from the company premises: Building / Assembling / configuring of custom equipment on the bench, such as Racks, switch / socket panels, Internally Wired Lighting Bars etc. Preparing for site – Picking, packing, ordering, selecting materials. Liaise with customers. Deal with installation, & sales enquiries by phone or email etc. Stock checks. Picking and packing of orders Unloading & unpacking deliveries. Loading & unloading of vehicles. Carry out van deliveries and collections as required. Maintain a clean driving license. Driving of Company vehicles. Ensure the company vehicles are clean and tidy. Ensure all company tools and access equipment are complete and up to date. Maintain a high level of housekeeping throughout the warehouses. Attend training as required. Carry out any other duties as directed by the Company Directors.

Most work is in London but required to visit the Office in BN18 2x a week
