Role and Responsibilities:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with SEN children, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with class teachers to deliver a differentiated curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support the social and emotional development of students.
- Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children with SEN.
- A strong understanding of the primary school curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable but not essential).
