Job Title: Machine Operator – Shot Blasting & Shot Peening

Salary: £16 per hour PAYE (on the books) 

Hours: 50 hours per week

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to work with shot blasting and shot peening machines. The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background, have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and be committed to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate shot blasting and shot peening machinery efficiently and safely.

Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure precise operation.

Maintain quality control standards during operations.

Follow health, safety, and operational protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth production workflows.

Requirements:

Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
