Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced AV Installation Engineer to join our team in London. As an Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the setup, installation, and configuration of advanced AV systems for clients across various sectors, including corporate, educational, and hospitality environments. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented AV professional with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform installations of audio-visual equipment, including displays, projectors, sound systems, control systems, and networked AV solutions

* Conduct on-site configuration and testing to ensure optimal performance and system integration

* Work with clients to interpret specifications and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations

* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation to minimize delays and maintain project timelines

* Collaborate with project managers, other engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless installations

* Complete all necessary installation documentation, including system diagrams, as-built schematics, and client handover materials

* Provide training and guidance to clients on using their AV systems post-installation

* Maintain a high standard of quality, adhering to company procedures, industry standards, and health and safety guidelines

Skills & Requirements

* Proven experience as an AV Installation Engineer with hands-on experience in AV installations

* Strong technical knowledge of AV equipment and systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX, Polycom)

* Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and AV schematics

* Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical AV issues

* Excellent communication and customer service skills with a client-focused approach

* Certifications such as CTS, CTS-I, or manufacturer-specific credentials are advantageous

* Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel within the London area
