Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join the engineering team. The role involves designing and delivering electrical control systems for advanced hydrogen applications. This is a hands-on position, ideal for a logical thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for technology.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will:

* Develop electrical schematics using EPLAN (or similar tools) and layout drawings for panels and components.

* Specify, verify, and document electrical components and systems.

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project specifications and deadlines.

* Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases.

* Contribute to continuous improvement and design standardization initiatives.

* Ensure compliance with relevant standards, including IEC61508 and EN ISO 13849.

* Prepare safety documentation and user manuals for systems.

* Support the service team with technical resolutions.

Skills & Experience

To excel in this role, you will need:

* A degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years).

* Strong knowledge of electrical engineering standards and software principles.

* Proficiency in EPLAN or equivalent planning tools.

* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

* Familiarity with flow diagram tools (e.g., Visio).

* Experience in creating system calculations (e.g., power requirements, IS circuit calculations).

* A proactive approach to health and safety regulations.
