Fire and Security Engineer
Location: Birmingham | Full-Time
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (Depending on Experience)

We're working with a growing and well-established fire and security company that's looking for an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join their team in Birmingham. If you're confident with both install and service work and enjoy variety in your day, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Be Doing:

Installations & Servicing

Installing, maintaining, and servicing fire and security systems - including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control.

Diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently to keep systems running smoothly.

Commissioning & Compliance

Commissioning systems in line with industry standards.

Completing accurate documentation such as service reports and maintenance logs.

Customer Support

Delivering excellent customer service and support.

Offering advice and system guidance when needed, and keeping clients up to date.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working on a range of fire and security systems.

Confident with install, service, and fault-finding across fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder systems.

Good understanding of British Standards and current regulations.

Full UK driving licence.

A proactive and positive approach, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Desirable Extras:

Familiarity with Galaxy systems and a variety of fire panels.

CSCS/ECS card.

IPAF/PASMA qualifications.
