Assembly and Test Fitter

Location: Cramlington

Rate of Pay: Up to £13.70 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week

* Day shift

* Monday to Friday

What you will be doing:

* Perform repairs and maintenance on gas turbine components, including stationary repair, to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment

* Generate detailed initial inspection reports for the engineering team.

* Rebuild and test products/components in accordance with OEM specification and company procedures.

* Generate detailed rebuild & test reports and final inspection reports.

* Use of specialist test rigs such as airflow, liquid fuel, compressor, hydraulic, flow divider, drive bench/pump.

* Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

What you will bring to the team:

* Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or related experience.

* Ability to read technical instructions/drawings.
