Job Title: Complaints Officer

Location: Hybrid (Barking/Home)
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
Working Pattern: Full Time
Salary: £38,000-£46,000 (dependent on experience)
Office: Just a 10-minute walk from Barking train station!

Role Overview:
As a Complaints Officer, you'll play a crucial role in managing Stage 1 complaints related to housing and repairs. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape processes from the ground up and make a real impact in our community!

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to Stage 1 complaints referred by the Local Authority, ensuring compliance with our policies.
Collaborate with the Local Authority's complaints team to gather details for thorough investigations.
Work closely with internal teams to investigate complaints, ensuring resolutions are practical and timely.
Draught clear, comprehensive responses that address residents' concerns.
Maintain accurate records of complaints and outcomes to meet statutory requirements.
Identify trends in complaints and recommend service improvements.What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in complaint handling or customer service, preferably in housing or repairs.
Strong investigation and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
A collaborative spirit to work with both internal and external stakeholders.
