Based in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, we are a specialist primary employment business now in our 12th year. We are a small, but reputable business contracted to Hertfordshire and support just primary schools and primary staff.
Moore Teachers is looking for an ambitious and driven education recruitment consultant to join our team. The right candidate would ideally have some experience in recruitment already, but must have a working understanding of the British school system. You may, for example, be a teacher looking for a career away from the primary classroom. Or you may have already made that leap and are searching for the next step in your recruitment journey, with the view of taking on a more senior role. In either case, you would be passionate about education and dedicated to working with primary staff and primary schools.

Responsibility and Duties:
* To start asap. This is a full-time role, 40 hours a week on a flexible working pattern
* Liaise with schools and headteachers to arrange bookings and interviews, and to provide a personalised approach to each client
* Filling client booking requests in line with our contractual obligation
* Attract new client schools
* Source and contact primary school staff through various marketing methods
* Screen CVs & identify relevant skills to match vacancies
* Arrange & conduct registration interviews
* Format & prepare CVs for clients
* Help maintain our CV tracker database
This role is varied and fast-paced and the ideal person would be:
* Confident to speak face-to-face and on the phone to a range of potential candidates
* Have the ability to multitask
* Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Self-motivated, tenacious and resilient
* Have good questioning and listening skills, and be an excellent conversationalist with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
* Share in our ethos and commitment to excellent customer service and social value
* Experienced in leading and managing people
You would offer:
* A good understanding of primary education, ideally with experience working in primary schools
* Excellent standard of written and spoken English
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
* Time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
* The ability to work well within a team as well as autonomously whilst demonstrating initiative
* Excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly
This is a full-time role, 40 hours a week on a flexible working pattern.

* A starting salary of £25,000-£27,000 pa depending on experience + commission
