Senior Development Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Development Engineer for a fantastic local engineering company based in Southampton

Job Description

The role will involve being a key leader in the development and design processes using specialist manufacturing technology and systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead development and design

* Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.

* Developing and leading the day to day with your direct reports

Ideal Skills and Experience

* 5-10 years experience in a relatable engineering role

* Materials / carbon fibre experience

* Design background, ideally Solidworks experience

* FEA systems experience, ideally Hyperworks

* Team leading experience

* Excellent communication skills

* Strong problem solving and solution providing skills

Salary / Hours / Benefits

£45K - £55K

40 hours per week – flexible on start and finish times
