Role Overview
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality interventions to support residents with complex physical and neurological conditions. Your focus will be on fostering independence, enhancing occupational engagement, and developing meaningful participation.
As a clinical leader, you will supervise and consult with the multidisciplinary team, showcasing advanced expertise in areas such as environmental adaptation, skill development, and person-centred care planning.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload, conducting comprehensive assessments and planning tailored interventions.
Deliver and evaluate evidence-based treatments aligned with individual care plans.
Provide expert guidance and supervision to the multidisciplinary team.
Apply advanced clinical reasoning to drive positive outcomes.
Promote occupational therapy best practices and innovation within the service.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
Significant post-qualification experience, including work with individuals with complex physical and neurological needs.
Strong knowledge of occupational therapy frameworks, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
Proven clinical reasoning and leadership skills.
