Please note that the salary stated is pro rata, as it is a part time position.
Working for a very friendly, professional and successful established business in Chippenham (Free Parking Outside the Office), you will be responsible for dealing with general administration in a busy office. The business is involved with aspects of TRAINING.
Within this varied position, you will be providing support / assistance to the Business Manager. Two part time, permanent positions working a combined total of 37.5 hours per week.
The Role:
The role provides a supportive and administrative function to the office. The role calls for interaction with members, training providers and outside bodies on a regular basis and so professionalism must be maintained at all times. The Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the office systems and procedures.
Attributes:
You must be personable, polite, flexible, have great communication and IT skills (Word/Excel/Outlook). We are looking for someone who enjoys working within a team who has a methodical approach, is organised and who is self-motivated and can work independently when required.
Start: 18 November 2024. Or As soon as possible after notice period
Main Tasks:
• Administration of office procedures;
• Dealing with general enquiries – both in the written and verbal form;
• Distribution of company literature, training manuals, etc;
• Auditing of training records;
• Issuing training certificates and identity cards;
• Updating the company’s training database;
• Maintenance and updating of the office filing system;
Skills:
The candidate should:
• Have previous experience within a busy administrative environment;
• Be computer literate to a high standard - competent in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel as a minimum. The candidate should also be willing to understand other software packages;
• Be extremely organised;
• Have excellent attention to detail;
• Have a pleasant, polite and professional telephone manner;
• Have a methodical approach to their workload;
• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively;
• Be able to liaise with people at all levels;
• Be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently;
• Have a good standard of written English.
