Position: Fabrics Technician

Location: Regents Street and Baker Street

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000

About Us: My client is dedicated to ensuring the safety and quality of our clients' facilities. We are currently seeking a skilled Fabrics Technician with strong carpentry skills to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining and upgrading our clients' fire doors to comply with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work across my client's site on approximately 200 fire doors.

* Change door furniture and install fire strips.

* Carry out door adjustments to ensure fire doors are compliant, particularly where gaps are too large.

* Install and change door closers.

* Install hinge pads behind hinges on fire doors, which involves taking off the fire door and re-hanging it after making necessary adjustments.

Requirements:

* Strong carpentry skills are essential for this role.

* Experience in working with fire doors and ensuring their compliance with safety standards.

* Ability to perform precise adjustments and installations to enhance the functionality and safety of fire doors.

* Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
