Qualified Gardener

£14 per hour

We are looking for a qualified Gardener to maintain the flowers and green spaces for our client, The Crown Estate. The role includes the monitoring of plant health, watering and feeding plants, trimming shrubs, fertilising and mowing lawns, weeding and keeping green spaces and walkways clear of debris and litter. You should know how to use and maintain gardening equipment while following health and safety regulations. Ultimately, you will ensure our client’s private grounds look as good as possible.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain seasonal plants

* Mow and trim green spaces

* Mulch, edge and weed flowerbeds

* Help maintain gardening equipment and machinery

* Monitor and maintain the health of plants

* Keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter

Skills:

* Horticultural qualifications

* Extensive knowledge of plant life

* Knowledge of pests and how to eliminate them

* Knowledge of health and safety regulations

* The ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time
