The Specifications Manager / Applications Engineer / Engineering Manager is required to join a world-leading distributor of hydraulic products, applications, and solutions.

The successful Specifications Manager / Applications Engineer / Engineering Manager will define and support technical specifications for hydraulic systems and components, ensuring compliance and performance across valves, pumps, actuators, cylinders and asdociated hydaulic products and solutions.

The Specifications Manager / Applications Engineer / Engineering Manager will ideally have hands-on experience with hydraulic systems and specifying hydraulic components. Hydraulic Engineers looking to step up into a more specialised role are encouraged to apply.

Ensure accurate specification and smooth operation of complex hydraulic systems, including actuators, motors, and cylinders.
Maintain full compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards across all hydraulic operations.
Provide technical input on hydraulics for annual operational and capital expenditure planning.
Give technical hydraulic advise over the phone and occasionally on site.
Liaise with various engineering departments.

Experience in a similar role such as specifications manager, technical specialist, technical coordinator, applications engineer, design engineer, or project engineer.
Strong background in specifying technical engineering products and solutions.
Ideally experienced with complex machinery/systems such as hydraulics, actuators, cylinders, valves, pumps, industrial motors etc.
Knowledge of industrial hydraulics is essential.
Hydraulic Engineers looking to step up into a more specialised role are encouraged to apply.
A technical engineering degree or equivalent experience is advantageous.
Willingness to commute to the office daily near Newark
