CNC Turner - Opportunity for a sliding head turner (ideally Star experienced) to join this established team in this aerospace precision engineering company working on a new star lathe. Any programming experience an advantage but Star (or perhaps even citizen) experience is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision machining and a proven track record of producing high-quality components.

Responsibilities:

- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines, specifically Star Sliding Head machines, to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards
- Troubleshoot and make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelinesRequirements:

- Proven experience as a CNC Turner with expertise in programming, setting, and operating Star Sliding Head machines
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
