Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Garage Equipment Engineer to join our team in South Yorkshire. This is a field-based role with responsibilities spanning both servicing and installation of garage equipment. Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance and servicing of a wide range of garage equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
* Carry out installations of new equipment at client sites, following technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
* Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical and electrical systems efficiently and effectively.
* Provide technical support and advice to clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and building lasting relationships.
* Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports.
* Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Garage Equipment Engineer or in a similar engineering role.
* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
* Experience in the servicing and installation of garage equipment is highly desirable.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
* Full UK driving license.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications are an advantage.
