My client are an established business, who have recently opened a new facility in Derby. A small, dedicated team focussed on delivering exceptional product to a demanding defence customer set within the Nuclear markets.
They are looking for a Quality Engineer/Manager to develop within their team to learn and develop. If you have a skillset within Manufacturing projects - then we would be keen to speak to you. Are you a Quality Engineer keen to take the next step up within a small team who are receptive to new ideas.
Mon-Thursday 7.45-4.15
Friday 7.45-3.15

Character
* You will be hard working, willing to go the extra mile, have a flexible approach.
* Able to work well within a team of mechanical and electrical engineers.
* Be comfortable in front of what can be demanding customers, suppliers and be able to challenge team members at all levels.
* Methodical and organised.
Experience
* You will have a good understanding of defence or similar large complex design and make projects.
* You will have worked as a Quality engineer, ideally with exposure to defence or similar large complex projects that require multiple stakeholder management.
* Have a good working knowledge of Quality Engineering techniques and software.
Role
You will be working within a small team, creating, and driving Quality plans - and fully immersed within creation of the QMS and foundations for ISO9001 accreditation.
You will be the point of contact for customers on your key projects, creating milestone plans and planning and directing activities and team members to achieve on time in full delivery.
Ideally you will have some working knowledge of surface coatings, welding, fabrication, machining, soldering, and wiring to IPC610 and 620 and general electrical assembly and box build would be beneficial
