Job Overview
PRS are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our clients team based on a static site in Southampton. There is also opportunity for a Permanent Electrical Engineer to be based on another local site. Both roles are Monday to Friday. 

Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities  

Responsible for PPM, Proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames
Responsible for other types of building services maintenance to include Fabric, HVAC, Mechanical and related tasks
Provide call out response (optional)
Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship
Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment.
Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems. This includes valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules. 
Maintenance Electrician Requirements 

C&G NVQ 3 or equivalent in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering
18th Edition
Experience working on Maintenance within a commercial environment ideally within the facilities management sector.
