Are you a hands-on individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a proactive Yard Support team member to join our clients busy team.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a Safe Yard: Keep the yard clean and safe, reporting any potential risks or concerns to the management team.
Equipment Handling: Assist with regular inspections, servicing, and maintenance of equipment, ensuring everything is ready for use.
Load & Unload: Help prepare, load, and unload equipment from various vehicle types, ensuring everything is secured properly with ratchet straps.
Stock Management: Work closely with the operations team to monitor stock levels, maintain proper labelling, and ensure equipment is serviced and ready for dispatch.
General Yard Support: Support day-to-day yard activities as directed, actively participating in stock checks and asset identification.Admin Responsibilities:
Adhere to yard procedures for equipment labelling.
Complete required paperwork for near misses, damages, and accidents.
Ensure proper completion of load lists and notify management of any stock shortages or missing items.Health & Safety:
Promote and enforce health and safety policies in the workplace.
Report any equipment defects, risks, or accidents immediately to the line manager.
Comply with Health & Safety regulations and take responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others.What We're Looking For:
