This role operates on a 3 rotational shift system (including 1 in 5 nights), ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities and equipment.

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? We are a dynamic and growing food manufacturer seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and repairing equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Perform regular inspections to proactively address potential issues.
Collaborate with team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in maintenance practices.

Qualifications:

City and Guilds Level 3 minimum in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role, ideally within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Desirable Experience:

Experience with Bosch and Babcock Boilers and Steam systems is advantageous but not essential.
