Manufacturing Manager

Salary: Up to £44k per annum
Tenure: Permanent
Shifts: Days only

Metalis are currently working with a specialist manufacturing company who are looking to add a Manufacturing Manager on a permanent basis to oversee the production process and ensure that all operations are effective and efficient.

The Role:

Manage schedule adherence of production Operations
Monitor plan / actual & report to Sales for future bids.
Manage all resources and staffing levels
Communicate and feedback any scheduling or quality issues
Attend quality meeting and participate in NCR activities, identifying the root cause.
Lead and motivate teams of production workers, Team Leaders, and support staff, running daily production meetings
Work to Lean Manufacturing principles, including: Kaizen and Six Sigma.

The Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' experience operating CNC machines.
Team Leader experience
Apprentice trained
Fanuc or Mazatrol experience advantageous
Proficiency in using manufacturing software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools for production management and analysis.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement

Hours: Days only
Early finish on a Friday
