Mechanical Design Engineer – Process Systems (Piping & Tanks)

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with a knack for process plant layouts, piping systems, and tanks?

A global engineering business is seeking someone who can hit the ground running on a major new project — interpreting P&IDs and translating them into fully engineered 3D solutions.

You’ll be hands-on from day one, producing designs that directly support manufacturing and on-site installation. The role sits within a collaborative team and offers exposure to both bespoke capital equipment and fast-moving product updates.

What you'll bring:
3–5 years of industry experience 

Proficiency in 3D CAD (Inventor preferred)

Strong understanding of pipes, tanks, and process equipment

Ability to interpret and implement P&IDs into design models

Knowledge of BoMs, design for manufacture, and engineering documentation

Bonus points for:
Experience with pressure vessels, chemical handling systems, or similar

Exposure to both bespoke machinery and process plant layout
