We’re hiring for an Engineering Stores Person to join a dynamic manufacturing team at their site based in Glossop.

This is a vital role in maintaining efficiency and accuracy within the production process, contributing to the smooth delivery of high-quality products.

What’s on offer?

* £12.60 per hour

* Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

* 25 days holiday + bank hols

What will you be doing as an Engineering Stores Person?

* Maintaining well-organised stores for efficient identification, collection, and issue of components

* Recording and storing items from internal and external sources

* Managing stock control to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained

* Updating and maintaining accurate stock records on the ERP system

* Preparing complete and accurate kits for assembly

* Ensuring works orders are complete and closed off on the ERP system before forwarding to the Sales Coordinator

What do you need?

* BTEC/OND qualification in Mechanical Engineering

* The ability to interpret CAD drawings

* Strong attention to detail with excellent planning and organisational skills

* Proficiency in maintaining stock records on ERP systems

* A team-oriented mindset with the ability to take initiative
