Position: Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer

Location: Stockton-on-Tees and around

Are you a Skilled Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer?? If so, Randstad C&P has an exciting opportunity for you to join our clients global facilities management team. They are seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality services and ensuring the comfort and safety of commercial property occupants.

It is a full-time, permanent position covering commercial properties in Stockton-on-Tees.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Oncall: 1 in 4- standby pay

33 days annual holidays, including bank holidays.Key Responsibilities:

Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on various air conditioning systems, includingsplit systems, VRVs/VRFs, and chillers.

Diagnose and repair faults on HVAC systems, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
Carry out installation and commissioning of HVAC systems when required.
Undertake general fabric maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, electrical work,and carpentry.

Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including reports and documentation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customerservice.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in airconditioning systems.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent qualification.
F-Gas Category 1 certification is desirable.
18th edition is desirable.
Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems incommercial environments.

Basic knowledge and experience in general fabric maintenance tasks, includingplumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Full UK driving licence.
