Job Title: PE Teacher (ASAP Start)

The Role:

The school is looking for a dedicated PE Teacher to teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will play a key role in promoting fitness, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards physical activity. This position is ideal for an experienced PE Teacher or a newly qualified teacher (NQT) eager to grow in a vibrant and forward-thinking environment. As a PE Teacher, you will deliver practical and theoretical lessons, encourage participation in school sports, and support students in developing their physical and mental well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching Physical Education to students aged 11 to 18, across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that promote fitness, health, and teamwork
Preparing students for both practical and theoretical assessments in PE
Supporting the development of the PE curriculum and contributing to extra-curricular activities and sports teams
Encouraging student participation in school sports and fostering a love for physical activity
Providing constructive feedback to help students improve their physical and mental well-being

Essential Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Physical Education or a related subject
Experience teaching PE at secondary school level, ideally with students aged 11 to 18
A passion for sports and fitness, with the ability to inspire and motivate students
Strong organisational and communication skills
