It is essential that all candidates applying have 3 years UK work experience.
Our client is looking for an Assistant RM – Fluent Mandarin person to join their Financial Institutions team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-To prepare credit application and renewals of both FI clients’ limit and facilities for HO and local credit committee approval, as assigned by the Direct Reports.
-To maintain the relationship of existing clients, and market the products and service offered by the bank.
-To manage a loan asset portfolio commensurate with the risk appetite of the bank.
-To initiate risk rating and conduct extensive due diligence and prepares credit submissions in accordance with the bank’s standards and procedures and presents them to the credit committee.
- To minimizes loan risks through diligent, timely and proactive reviews and ongoing monitoring of changing economic,marketplace influences
-Responsibility for the day-to-day identification, ownership and management of conduct risk and controls through the continuing development and implementation of the Bank’s conduct risk framework processes.
-Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Head or Deputy Head of FI Department from time to time
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
-Bachelor Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in banking industry with product exposure.
-A well-developed understanding and solid analytical skills in the area of balance sheet, cash flow and income statements.
-Strong written and verbal skills in both English and Mandarin, with Mandarin skills a pre-requisite of the role.
-Compliance and regulation conversant
-Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
