Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid/Remote working options available)
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

An established and well-regarded environmental consultancy based in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Air Quality Consultant to join its growing team. The firm specialises in environmental, acoustic, and planning services across a wide range of sectors, and offers a supportive, technically driven environment with strong opportunities for progression.

 Key Responsibilities

Undertake air quality assessments for planning applications and environmental permits
Carry out atmospheric dispersion modelling using tools such as ADMS or AERMOD
Prepare high-quality technical reports for clients, planning authorities, and regulators
Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to support project delivery
Contribute to business development through proposal writing and client engagement
Assist with mentoring junior staff and reviewing technical work Candidate Requirements

Degree in Environmental Science, Atmospheric Chemistry, Geography, or a related discipline
Minimum 2 years’ experience in air quality consultancy or a related field
Proficient in using dispersion modelling software (e.g. ADMS, AERMOD)
Familiarity with UK air quality regulations and planning system
