Associate Planning Director
Location: Glasgow

Carrington West are pleased to be partnered with a leading environmental consultancy who are seeking an exceptional Associate Planning Director to join their thriving Glasgow office. Be part of a multidisciplinary team of experts in ecology, hydrology, and planning, driving forward innovative solutions across energy, residential, commercial, mixed-use, minerals, infrastructure, and utilities projects.
 
The Role:
This is a leadership role for a strategic thinker and skilled planner. You'll guide teams, manage high-profile projects, and influence development outcomes that shape communities and landscapes for the better. As an Associate Planning Director, you'll have the autonomy to lead while being part of a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and manage large-scale, strategic planning projects from inception to completion.

·Mentor and support junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
·Contribute to business development through networking, bids, and identifying new opportunities.
 
What We're Looking For:
·Qualifications: Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline and full membership of the RTPI.
·Experience: Demonstrable experience in leading complex planning projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.
·Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
·Vision: A strategic thinker with a passion for sustainable and innovative planning solutions.
