ABC Teachers work with a number of different schools in the Sandwelll and Dudley areas. Therefore we are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team.

Teaching assistants are highly sought after in your local area, so if you have previous experience working within schools, or any other relevant experience we would love to hear from you.

We have a range of different Teaching Assistant roles from whole class support to 1:1 support within all Primary aged year groups.

With high levels of SEND in some of the schools we are in partnership with, SEND experience would be beneficial however not essential. As long as you have a passion for working with children, are motivated, reliable and trustworthy then please apply now.

About the role:

Supporting the class teacher as much as possible
Supporting children on a 1:1 basis and small group basis
Use a child-centred approach to provide the best support for student’s learning and development.
This Teaching Assistant role is on a supply basis so can be flexible around you!

The schools we work with cater to primary aged students and range from different sizes and requirements. 
About you:

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:

Have previous experience working with primary-aged children and students.
Suitable qualifications to work with young people and support students with SEND, this is highly desirable.
Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
Be able to work as part of a team and be confident dealing with occasional behavioural challenges
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
