The Company

My client, who is a leading manufacturer and distributor of retail products is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business with a people centric culture.

Warehouse Manager Requirements:

Experience using a WMS system
Experienced using computers and office packages
Experience managing teams conducting 121’s and delivering training
Experience with disciplinaries, return to works and conducting investigations
Experience managing KPI’s
Experience dealing with a high volume if SKU’s
To be able to motivate a team to achieve stretching targets
Be able to hold briefings.

Ability to think quickly and clearly under pressure.
Hands on approach to driving improvement across site via daily department walk arounds and follow ups.
Warehouse Manager Duties:

Manage KPI’s across the departments.
Working with the management teams of each dept to drive efficiency/accuracy/H&S standards across the site.
To carry out RTW for staff on the shift and ensure a consistent approach to the absence policy.
To carry out relevant meetings with staff including investigations and disciplinary meetings working with the Site Manager to ensure a fair and consistent approach across the site
To action performance management of any staff not hitting required capability or conduct levels in accordance with the escalation process.
To report any IT /System issues to the IT Manager and Site Manager with detailed reporting of any issues to ensure we can resolve and fix ASAP.
To be flexible in terms of working hours and be able to work the required hours to ensure completion of all aspects of the role to a high standard.
To instil in all departments a muti skilled work force so we have fluidity across the site for skill set.
To have a presence across the site conducting daily walks of all areas and all departments having action plans to drive standards.
Implement and maintain detailed handovers between shifts with good communication channels at all times.
To work with site manager and head of operations in future planning and future preparing the site for growth.
Communicate with internal teams such as I.T, Merchandising Team, Goods In, H&S Manager and other site locations as well as external companies and site security
