JOB- Production / Manufacturing Supervisor

LOCATION- West Wickham

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a Production or Manufacturing Supervisor / Manager for a manufacturer based in West Wickham / Croydon area within the engineering manufacturing sector. This could be well suited to anyone has exposure to electronics, assembly or similar manufacturing processes.

The Manufacturing / Production Supervisor will ideally have the following attributes:

Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR Qualified by experience
Previous experience working in a supervisory or managerial position.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
Capable of leading a team of technicians / operatives.
Experience in a regulated manufacturing business
Understanding of KPI monitoring
Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
Good problem-solving skills
Exposure to lean manufacturing – beneficial but not needed
Familiar with Electronics products and processes (soldering, PCB’s, SMT, Component manufacturing, through hole soldering etc) - advantageousThe Production / Manufacturing Supervisor role will involve:

Overseeing the production team and ensuring work is carried out effectively.
Monitoring KPI’s and ensuring targets are met
Reporting back to manufacturing manager on any issues
Liaising with other departments where necessary
