Are you competent with operating and configuring financial systems? Do you have experience working for a large manufacturing organisation?  We are working with an international manufacturer who are looking for a Finance Systems Accountant on a permanent basis. The role will see you responsible for the development and maintenance of their core financial systems and support with month end reporting and consolidation. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and have a strong understanding of accounting concepts.

Initially 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, after probation 2 days in the office, 3 days from home

Job Description

Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of Hyperion consolidation system and be the first point of contact for any issues.
Improve and develop workflows and the reporting functionality of Hyperion.
Carry out regular data cleansing exercises to improve arching and auditing.
Provide financial reporting analysis and support.
Responsible for reviewing and ensuring other sites have reconciled intercompany balances at month end.
Dealing with currency exchange rate implications and intercompany transactions adjustments.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Proven experience working as a Finance Systems Accountant/Finance Systems Manager
Strong accounting background
Experience working within a large manufacturing organisation
Well versed using consolidation/finance systems
